Windrose Console Commands & Cheats — What Actually Exists

Short answer: Windrose has no console commands right now. The developer console is locked in the current Early Access build — pressing ~ does nothing, and no official cheat commands are documented. Plenty of sites list "commands" anyway; here's what genuinely works instead. Last checked: July 24, 2026 — we'll update this page if a patch unlocks the console.

1. In-game difficulty settings (the official "cheats")

Open Settings and adjust the enemy health and enemy damage sliders — the closest thing to god mode the game officially offers.
This is per-world and works in single-player and co-op. If boars are two-shotting you, this is the intended lever.

2. Dedicated server configuration

Server admins control settings by editing ServerDescription.json and the world difficulty settings in the server's configuration directory.
That covers world name, max player count, and difficulty values — there are no live admin commands to type in-game.

3. Mods (single-player / co-op)

Community mods on Nexus Mods cover the usual wishes — adjusted gathering rates, faster unlocks, and trainer-style options like infinite health and stamina.
Standard caveats: mods are third-party, can break after patches, and shouldn't be used on servers you don't own.

Why doesn't a UE5 game have a console?

Windrose runs on Unreal Engine 5, which normally ships with a developer console — the developers have deliberately locked it during Early Access. That's why every "full commands list" you find is either speculative or describes config-file editing, not real commands.
